Had a really great first day learning with Terry. I had a ton of fun trying out several different stations and learned a lot. Terry is a great instructor who helped introduce me to the sport and has a great teaching style. Look forward to going back

We had a great time at mid valley! My young-adult daughter had her first lesson, and went from never having held a gun before to knocking down a pair on the sporting clay course. She raved about the experience. Very welcoming staff, great instruction, nice facility.

Thank you Instructor Terry Miller and Mid-Valley Clays and Shooting School. What a fun day for Ryan and Ian as they were introduced for the first time to the safe handling of firearms. They will share these memories for years.

My goal was not to receive technical instruction on shooting targets but development of a pre-shoot routine to improve my focus and reduce physical tension while competing in sporting clays tournaments.

Terry met the request and then some. He obviously has spent a great deal of time working with people who have internal voices constantly chattering and distracting. Sporting clays tournaments then add a huge amount of external disturbance. We developed a routine with internal self-talk, then shot some targets, and immediately I saw results. Literally, I was seeing the target better and had better gun movement.

Coaching the mental game. Let’s call him the Ted Lasso of sporting clays.

I surprised my wife for our anniversary with shotgun lessons at Mid Valley and we had a great time with Vandy instructing us. It was our first time shooting shotguns and Vandy's patience and enthusiasm made the whole lesson thoroughly enjoyable. Vandy's expertise in determining what gun correctly fit us was amazing and we were exploding target in short order. My wife enjoyed it so much she came away with a shotgun! I can't recommend Mid Valley Clay and Shooting Club's facilities and staff highly enough. If I could, I would give them and Vandy 10 stars! We will definitely be back to continue learning and honing our skills.

Best money spent to improve my shooting skills. Did the 2 hour buddy shoot and not just basic fitting, but a lot of time between the two of us.
Dave was really easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He used simple terms to get his point across.
Best treasure away fur me was actually "see the bird, shoot the bird". My misses were usually taking my eye off the leading edge of the bird and looking for the barrel just before it caught up.
I plan on going back for some Sporting Clays training.

Vandy rocks! My sons and I took a lesson from Vandy this week and could not have had a better time. We are complete newbies and have never used a shotgun before. Vandy is incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We had a great time and highly recommend going to MVC.
